We’re looking for an experienced Machinist III to take on complex machining work while helping guide and develop others on the team. This is a senior-level, hands-on role for someone who is confident running advanced equipment and solving problems on the floor.

• Set up and operate complex manual and CNC machines, including multi-axis mills, lathes, and grinders
• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and part quality
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and CAD models
• Perform precision inspections using tools like CMMs, micrometers, and calipers
• Troubleshoot machining issues related to setup, tooling, and quality
• Identify and support process improvements to reduce cycle time and improve output
• Perform advanced maintenance and equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate documentation for programs, setups, and production data
• Mentor and train Machinist I and II team members

• 5+ years of machining experience, including CNC setup and programming
• Strong knowledge of G-code and CAD/CAM software
• Ability to work independently on complex parts with tight tolerances
• Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience mentoring or training others

• Technical training or formal apprenticeship in machining
• Experience in a precision manufacturing or regulated environment

• Machine shop setting with exposure to noise, metal shavings, and cutting fluids
• Use of PPE including safety glasses, composite toe shoes, gloves, and hearing protection

• Standing for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands for precision work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
