Position Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager, Multi- Family/ Mixed Use New Buildings and Major Alterations to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead complex drawing reviews, oversee project management efforts, and guide teams through filing and approval processes with NYC agencies. You’ll also play a key role in client relationship management, internal training development, and mentoring direct reports to support high-quality project delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead complex drawing reviews, markups, and project management activities.
- Assign project management teams and provide guidance throughout the filing and approval process.
- Support Project Managers with complex technical and regulatory issues.
- Navigate NYC agency processes including DOB, DOB NOW, Department of Finance, and condominium filings.
- Draft complex AI1 appeals and determinations.
- Develop and facilitate training sessions on NYC agency procedures, regulations, and best practices.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a key point of contact for projects.
- Supervise, coach, and support direct reports.
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- Class 2 Code & Zoning Representative License.
- Strong understanding of NYC agency processes, including DOB, DOF, LPC, DOT, HPD, and OER applications.
- Advanced knowledge of zoning, filing processes, and project management workflows.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and client management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with ULURP, Revocable Consent, and complex zoning analysis.
- Familiarity with HPD Affordable Housing Programs
- Experience with Article I Chapter 5 Residential conversions
- Familiarity with DOBNOW platforms (BUILD, SAFETY, INSPECTIONS).
- Knowledge of LPC, DOF, FDNY, and zoning-related filing requirements.
- Experience with ACRIS, zoning lot development agreements, and air rights transactions.
- Understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, fire protection systems, and construction safety standards.
- Experience developing internal training programs or leading educational sessions.
Work Environment & Schedule
- This position is based in New York City, with a hybrid schedule.
- Standard working hours are Monday- Friday, 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM.
- Travel may be required for client site visits or municipal agency meetings as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000-$100,000 based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
