This role sits at the intersection of healthcare data and modern software engineering, focused on building scalable, user-facing applications that power clinical workflows. You will design and develop full-stack features that help providers access and act on critical patient information in real time. The position involves working across React-based interfaces, APIs, and cloud infrastructure in AWS. You will collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and data teams to deliver intuitive and reliable experiences. • Build and operate full-stack web applications, including React-based user interfaces and the APIs that support them.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable features from concept through production deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and non-technical stakeholders to prototype and iterate on customer-facing features.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions across frontend and backend services.
• Work across engineering teams to maintain and improve shared AWS infrastructure and cloud services.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability across systems.
• Guide engineering best practices and support continuous improvement across the team.
• Partner with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and product priorities.
• Support end-to-end ownership of services, from UI interaction to backend systems and data flow.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack or software engineering roles, with strong frontend and backend exposure.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices.
• Proficiency in backend systems and API development using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable systems and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Nice to have: experience with healthcare systems, HIPAA-compliant APIs, FHIR R4, TEFCA, or security/compliance frameworks like HITRUST.
