Remote Senior Financial Analyst
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant - REMOTE. The role is integral to managing the month-end close process and financial reporting across multiple entities. In this position, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards. Your insights will contribute to improving internal controls and support overall integration efforts. This position places you at the forefront of financial operations, helping to enable strategic value creation within the organization.
Accountabilities- Manage and perform month-end close for multiple companies
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and conduct variance analysis
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
- Ensure GAAP compliance across all reporting
- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure proper accounting treatments
- Support acquisition integration from a finance/accounting perspective
- Assist with annual audits and manage client requests
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with policies
- Coordinate tax filings with external providers
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Build scalable systems and reporting tools for growth
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 25 years of progressive accounting experience, public and industry
- Experience with multi-entity consolidations
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite or QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in SaaS or software resale environments is a plus
- Familiarity with ERP implementations or upgrades
- Exposure to purchase accounting and M&A integration
