This role is focused on driving top-of-funnel growth through high-impact outbound sales activity in a fast-scaling, international environment. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying key decision-makers across retail and multi-location industries. Acting as a critical engine of pipeline generation, the role requires a proactive, resilient, and highly structured approach to outreach. The professional will operate in a fully remote, performance-driven setup with global exposure and collaboration. This position combines strategic prospecting with hands-on execution, requiring strong communication skills and commercial acumen. It is an opportunity to directly influence revenue growth in a high-growth, AI-powered sales organization.
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified sales opportunities.
- Identify, research, and map target accounts within retail, grocery, and multi-location enterprise segments.
- Engage and qualify leads through discovery conversations, assessing needs, budget, and decision-making authority.
- Book high-quality meetings for Account Executives and ensure smooth handoff with detailed CRM documentation.
- Develop and refine multi-channel outreach strategies to improve conversion rates and pipeline efficiency.
- Navigate complex organizational structures to reach senior stakeholders such as Directors, VPs, and C-level executives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure strong data hygiene across all prospecting activities.
- Gather market intelligence from prospect interactions to improve ICP definition and messaging effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to marketing and sales teams on lead quality, objections, and market trends.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, or outbound sales roles, preferably in SaaS.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and meeting generation targets.
- Strong experience in cold outreach and engaging senior decision-makers in complex organizations.
- Comfortable performing high-volume outreach (60+ calls per day) with strong resilience to rejection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft concise and effective messaging.
- Strong organizational skills and structured approach to pipeline and territory management.
- Familiarity with sales tools such as CRMs (HubSpot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach platforms.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize leads and optimize daily activities based on data.
- Strong motivation, urgency, and competitive drive to achieve targets.
- Nice to have: experience in retail tech, loss prevention, or high-growth startup environments, and exposure to US retail markets.
- Willingness to travel internationally 4–5 times per year for conferences and client engagements.
