Job Description

Position title: Country Manager, Yemen

Location: Yemen | (On-site)
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, International Relations or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing high value relief and development programs.
  • Work experience in a non-profit, development, and/or humanitarian organization with progressive responsibilities in project management, project design and development, budget management, and team leadership.
  • Master’s degree in business administration, International Relations, or relevant field required. Additional experience may substitute for some education.
  • Experience in complex development settings.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing high-value projects from multiple international donors and knowledge of relevant donor regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and private sector engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in stakeholder management and establishing and strengthening partnerships.
  • Proven track record of managing staff and developing leaders.
  • Experience in Microsoft 360 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.), and information and budget management systems.
