This senior commercial leadership role is focused on driving global growth across the organization’s largest and most strategic life sciences accounts. You will be responsible for developing high-impact customer strategies, building long-term executive relationships, and expanding revenue opportunities across a complex, multi-regional portfolio. The role requires strong commercial acumen, scientific understanding, and the ability to operate at C-suite level within global biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations. You will act as a trusted partner to customers, aligning advanced scientific solutions with their strategic priorities in diagnostics, biologics, and life science innovation. Working in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment, you will coordinate cross-functional internal teams to deliver integrated solutions that create measurable business impact. This is a high-visibility role ideal for a strategic sales leader who thrives at the intersection of science, business growth, and global account management.
- Develop and execute global account strategies for the organization’s largest strategic customers across life sciences and biotechnology sectors.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships, including C-suite engagement, positioning the organization as a long-term strategic partner.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and expansion of product and service portfolios across assigned global accounts.
- Lead complex negotiations and manage multi-stakeholder relationships across diverse international and cultural contexts.
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions leveraging the full product and service portfolio.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts through strategic account planning.
- Resolve complex commercial and operational challenges by applying advanced problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Translate customer needs and scientific requirements into actionable business solutions.
- Represent the organization in executive discussions, strategic reviews, and high-level customer engagements.
- Monitor market trends and customer developments to proactively shape account strategy and positioning.
- 10+ years of experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or biopharmaceutical industries with a strong focus on strategic account management or senior sales leadership.
- Proven experience managing large, global, or enterprise-level customer accounts.
- Strong understanding of life sciences markets, including diagnostics, biologics, or related scientific domains.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and margin expansion.
- Ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts into business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills in a global, matrixed environment.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop long-term account growth plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced scientific degree and/or MBA preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Competitive annual base salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 USD
