RICE Services Inc., (A 100% employee-owned ESOP) is looking to hire an organized, professional Multi-Family HVAC Project Coordinator to join our team.

Fulltime position, Monday through Friday

Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of HVAC projects for multi-family residential buildings from start to finish.
  2. Able to build submittal packages
  3. Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines, ensuring all milestones are met.
  4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  5. Oversee the procurement and delivery of HVAC equipment and materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
  6. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues or delays promptly.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  8. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  9. Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  10. Assist with budgeting and financial management of projects, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost control.
  11. Coordinate site visits and inspections to assess project status and quality of work.
  12. Support the development and implementation of project strategies and objectives.
  13. Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids, providing technical support as needed.
  14. Ensure client satisfaction by addressing any questions or concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
  15. Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies and industry trends to support project innovation and efficiency.



Position Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination within the HVAC industry, preferably in multi-family residential projects.
  3. Understanding of HVAC systems and terminology.
  4. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective liaison with clients, contractors, and team members.
  6. Proficiency in project management software , Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  8. Experience in budgeting and cost management.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  11. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  12. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  13. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.
