This position will train on 1st shift before moving to the PM schedule.
Schedule: 7pm-7am; 2-2-3 schedule

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair production machinery and plant equipment to support safe and efficient operations.
• Perform emergency repairs during production and complete scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot and service mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose failures, replace or repair components, test equipment, and make required adjustments.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Perform basic machinist work to support maintenance and repair activities.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to perform maintenance tasks safely.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance or equivalent experience.
• 5 years experience in manufacturing.
• Background in production maintenance.
• Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical, and Industrial skills required.
• Knowledge of plastic extrusion equipment desired.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain great attendance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
