About This Position
The Operations Coordinator will perform the duties as outlined in the following responsibilities. All duties demand critical thinking, organization and timely completion of reports required for efficient functioning of the Nursing Facility and maintain records of significant information reporting directly to the Administrator. This position requires interaction with co-workers, residents and families. Professionalism is of the utmost importance.
Performance Expectations:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Attends meetings specific to the job and maintains daily resident status changes to accurately balance census as it relates to the monthly facility and vendor billing. Prepares and maintaings facility census roster, Accounts Payables entry, Hospice, Private Pay, and Resident liability billing and collections, Deposits, Manages the Resident Trust Fund account and maintains records for the Division of Medicaid annual audits, works closely with the Division of Medicaid regional office to ascertain pending Medicaid cases are completed timely, completes daily/weekly insurance verification on referrals, maintains the Survey Readiness manual for inspections, maintains the Emergency Operations manual, completes the month end close out procedures and prepares Medicare part A and B claims through leading Triple Check meetings with pertinent departments. Assist Administrator as needed for special projects. Worsks closely with financial services team to close monthly financials, and prepares billing claims for patient services billing.
Qualifications: Education/Skills High school diploma or equivalent required. Understanding/use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access). Basic understanding/use of American HealthTech Application. Work Experience:1 year of experience in secretarial/office duties preferred.
