The Shift Leader at Fat Burger plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant during their assigned shifts. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing team members, and maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality. The Shift Leader acts as a liaison between management and staff, ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed consistently. They are instrumental in fostering a positive work environment, motivating employees, and addressing any issues that arise promptly. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a quick-service restaurant or similar food industry setting.
- Leadership or team management training or certification.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant.
- Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.
- Manage inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Handle cash management duties including opening and closing registers and reconciling cash drawers.
- Support management in implementing company policies, procedures, and promotional initiatives.
- Resolve conflicts or issues among staff or customers in a calm and effective manner.
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and consistency.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate important information to management and team members.
