Position: The ATP Specialty provides support to pediatrics patients, Alternative Drive Controls patients, and ALS patients.

Duties and Responsibilities

A Specialty ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) will be hired to provide advanced clinical and technical support for complex patient populations across multiple sales territories. Each Specialty ATP will support approximately 8–10 Sales Representatives and focus primarily on specialized patient needs, particularly including:

1. Pediatrics

2. Alternative Drive Control Patients

3. ALS Patients

This role ensures clinical excellence, enhances staff competency, and supports Rehab Medical’s mission to deliver the highest quality mobility and seating solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Grow Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) Revenue

  • Work with sales members and accountants that service the above-mentioned accounts to grow revenue specific to complex patients.

2. Education and In-Services - Conduct in-service training courses with clinical accounts.

  • Work directly with complex accounts or with Sales Representatives in each territory to schedule in-services.
    • 10 in-services per month requirement until 1 million in revenue
    • 5 in-service per month requirement once 1 million in revenue

3. Patient Evaluations - Lead evaluations for patients within Specialty ATP focus areas until additional ATPs are trained and approved to perform these evaluations independently.

4. Equipment Setup Oversight – Collaborate with Area and Sales Managers to confirm technicians receive the necessary training before performing independent patient setups.

  • Ensure each setup is completed correctly and to the patient’s clinical needs.

Education and Experience:

  • ATP Certification required
