Salary Range: $72,000- $80,000
MANDEX currently has a need for an experienced Logistics III to join our team in Charleston, SC. The individual will lead our DHA ITS III program in the procurement of LAN/WLAN cable plant infrastructure and electronics equipment. The successful candidate will be extremely organized, self- motivated, able to multi-task and work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate, prepare, track procurement plans for MHS WLAN.
- Review existing documentation for manufacturer materials and provide recommendations on documentation updates and changes.
- Provide senior-level procurement support during planning discussions, as directed, to NIWC-LANT and participate in and contribute to required project meetings.
- Provide financial documentation of procurement activities to NIWC-LANT.
- Provide support for the various stages of the Procurement process.
- Work with manufacturers on special order materials, defects, planned closures and industry shortages.
- Assist Government liaison with all aspects of procurement planning, technical acceptance and procurement justifications.
- Provide expert support in response to data calls for NIWC-LANT.
- Provide technical writing and editing to ensure project documents are complete, comprehensive and do not conflict with the overall mission and approach.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Experience:
- Experience with Government Procurement - Multiple Award Contracts (MACs).
- Working knowledge of CMPro (Navy ERP and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment [PIEE] a plus)
- Knowledge of Cisco, Ruckus, and Juniper networking equipment to support technical review and procurement activities preferred.
- Six (6) years of experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronics systems to include logistics principles, practices, and processes preferred.
- Four (4) years of experience in support of C4ISR systems preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
