What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:

  • Prepares orders by processing requests for material orders; pulling materials; loading and unloading material onto trucks using a forklift.
  • Stages orders in pipe yard.
  • Attaches identifying labels to materials and/or marks information on boxes, pallets or other containers.
  • Assembles material and fills orders to be shipped to customers.
  • Reviews all orders to determine if items were picked correctly.
  • Verifies and ensures all correct material is loaded onto delivery trucks for deliveries; double checks paperwork and yard tickets to ensure order accuracy.
  • Coordinates customers pick up orders and demonstrates concern for the customer in every interaction; ensures excellent customer experience.
  • Coordinates with local shipping team to load delivery trucks with pipe and yard material for customer deliveries.
  • Verifies inbound delivery paperwork to ensure that all product is properly counted and received.
  • Replenishes yard material in bins as needed.
  • Organizes and cleans debris from the pipe yard area daily.
  • Ensures the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
  • Always maintains the highest level of professionalism.
  • Safely operates all the necessary powered industrial equipment in work area.
  • Adheres to and observes all company established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Experience driving forklift, required
  • Ability to operate pallet jack and RF Scanner
  • Experience using Eclipse data system, preferred

  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lifting/Carrying: Regularly required to lift, carry, push and pull pipe and related materials weighing up to 75 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance or mechanical equipment.
  • Standing/Walking: Prolonged standing and walking on uneven surfaces throughout the workday.
  • Climbing/Balance: Frequent climbing onto and off equipment and trucks; maintaining balance while working at heights or on uneven terrain.
  • Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching: Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to load/unload and secure pipe.
  • Hearing/Speaking: Ability to hear instructions, communicate effectively with coworkers, and respond to safety signals in a noisy, outdoor environment.
  • Vision: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to safely perform tasks.
  • Reaching/Handling: Frequent reaching, grasping, and handling of pipe, tools, and powered equipment.
  • Environmental Conditions: Work performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow), with regular exposure to dust, dirt, loud noises, and moving equipment.
  • PPE Use: Must be able to wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, high-visibility vest, etc.) as directed.
