This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Director - REMOTE. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects across Europe, including the UK and Ireland. You will collaborate with diverse teams to manage project execution while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Your leadership will facilitate effective communication and cooperation among stakeholders, shaping the outcome of significant projects in various sectors. This role demands a strategic mindset and the ability to innovate within project planning and operations, making a tangible impact within the construction industry.
Accountabilities- Work effectively as part of the senior management team from a company-wide perspective.
- Attend managerial meetings and present comprehensive reports on departmental performance.
- Manage the department and team, ensuring adherence to best practices and maximizing profitability.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers in projects.
- Engage with clients early to address project requirements and expectations.
- Identify potential commercial risks and report them promptly to the Board.
- Ensure project programs are detailed and timelines are followed.
- Implement robust resourcing plans across projects.
- Formulate logistics plans for project execution.
- Prepare necessary safety documentation and oversee design compliance.
- Construction-related college degree or equivalent; construction science or engineering degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in a senior management role in construction.
- Expertise in roofing, cladding, and faade methods including safety codes.
- Proven track record of successful project completion.
- Budget management experience and strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated financial and business development acumen.
- Effective communication and supervisory skills.
- Experience managing medium to large scale projects successfully.
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills.
- High level of computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
