Job Overview:
The Speech Therapy department is seeking a per diem Inpatient Speech Pathologist to join the team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master's degree in speech language pathology
- Minimum of one year of experience
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- New Jersey state licensure in speech/language pathology
- New Jersey speech specialist certification or eligibility
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech/language pathology
Scheduling Requirements:
- Day shift
- Per Diem
- Must be available for weekend coverage
Essential Functions:
- Inservice on subjects related to speech, language or dysphagia
- Assist in updating diagnostic and/or therapeutic materials and supplies
- Provides counseling to patients and/or their families with regard to the diagnostic finding, the therapeutic program or further referral
- Administer qualitative diagnostic, habilitative and rehabilitative services related to communication disorders for inpatients and outpatients of all ages
