About This Position
Position Summary
The Senior IT Project Manager supports day-to-day management and execution of FISMA SCA activities, ensuring coordination across assessment teams, schedules, and deliverables. This role acts as a lead manager for assessment execution and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operational execution of project tasks, including assessment scheduling, staffing coordination, and deliverable tracking.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Project schedules for security assessments and knowledge transfer activities.
- Lead preparation of Monthly Status Reports, weekly status meetings, and quarterly metrics/dashboards.
- Coordinate with IRS stakeholders, assessment teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of SCAs.
- Support transition-in, knowledge transfer, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT project management and systems analysis experience in large-scale or mission-critical environments.
- At least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role managing multidisciplinary teams.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- PMP or PgMP required (or equivalent).
- ITIL, Agile (Scrum/SAFe), or DAWIA Level III certifications highly desirable.
