About This Position

Description:

We are seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional with comprehensive knowledge of the banking industry to join our team. This role is responsible for daily reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, preparation of federal and state regulatory reports (including CALL and Colorado State Banking reports), and management of tax accruals and payrolls. The position includes monthly Board of Directors’ reporting, management of accrual and fixed asset accounts, and financial analysis. Additional duties involve product code management, Silverlake system administration, franchise tax planning, and FDIC premium management. The role collaborates across departments, supports audits, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. This individual will also be responsible for instructing others, developing business policies, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Daily reconciliation of General ledger accounts.
  2. Quarterly and annual Federal reporting requirement including the CALL report.
  3. Property tax accruals and renditions.
  4. Monthly preparation and presentation of Board of Directors’ Report.
  5. Maintaining all the accrual accounts and fixed asset accounts.
  6. Under general supervision, plans, conducts and supervises assignments. Review progress and evaluate results.
  7. Utilizing software compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
  8. Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
  9. FDIC premium management.
  10. Financial analysis.
  11. Franchise tax planning.
  12. Income Statement management.
  13. Prepare public Statement of Condition.
  14. Product Code management and implementation.
  15. Silverlake queries.
  16. Silverlake setup and changes.
  17. Colorado State Banking reports and Audits.
  18. Quarterly Regional grading ratios.
  19. Manage MasterCard stock program.
  20. Input and balance ABC and Americo semi-monthly payrolls in addition to special payrolls.
  21. Quarterly and Annual payroll tax reporting.
  22. Process, review and submit payroll.
  23. Run all accounting entries through SilverLake.
  24. Run reports in Paylocity
  25. Access Jack Henry for 3rd Party Transaction Upload
  26. Perform other duties as assigned by Chief Financial Officer.
  27. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
  28. Adhere to all relevant security responsibilities as outlined in the Bank's Information Security Program and Written Security Program.
