We are seeking a Manager, Tax to lead and oversee global tax compliance and reporting in a dynamic SaaS environment. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic oversight, managing both domestic and international tax obligations while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with external CPA firms and cross-functional internal teams to maintain compliance, optimize processes, and support business growth. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects across multiple jurisdictions. You will also provide guidance on tax planning initiatives, support financial reporting, and drive improvements in tax-related systems, policies, and controls. Success in this role is measured by ensuring operational excellence, minimizing risk, and enabling business scalability.
Accountabilities:
  • Oversee US federal and state income tax compliance and reporting.
  • Supervise indirect tax filings, including US sales tax and international VAT.
  • Manage cross-border intercompany tax compliance, including transfer pricing and intercompany agreements.
  • Ensure tax compliance aligns with evolving business operations, legal entity structures, and product or commercial changes.
  • Supervise external CPA firms, managing scope, fees, and quality of work through operational reviews.
  • Research and respond to tax regulations, vendor, and customer inquiries.
  • Assist with US tax provision preparation and reconciliations between book and tax.
  • Implement improvements in tax processes, systems, policies, and internal controls.
  • Provide tax-related financial analysis to support timely close and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, Accounting, Business Systems, People, and Sales teams on tax planning initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive tax experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with intercompany accounting and cross-border tax implications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in international public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier firms).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage external partners and coordinate global projects.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
