Pay Range: $75,000 – $90,000 per year plus bonus
Position Summary
Streamline is seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, support the month‑end/quarter‑end/year‑end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and internal policies. It reports to the CFO and works within an established finance organization alongside the Director of Revenue Cycle, AR Manager, Billing Manager, Senior Manager of Treasury Operations, and multiple team leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly/quarterly/annual close (GL, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, reconciliations) to meet reporting deadlines.
- Prepare and review financial statements and support KPI reporting for management.
- Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Provide schedules and documentation for audits; assist with year‑end and tax deliverables.
- Use the ERP and advanced Excel to streamline workflows
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Operations, Sales, Account Management, Clinical, HR, and Provider Relations to resolve issues and improve accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–8 years of progressive, hands‑on accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience
- ERP experience and advanced Excel proficiency
- Demonstrated close ownership and high‑quality reconciliations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Clear, professional communication and effective cross‑functional partnering
- Prior team lead/light supervisory experience is a plus (not required)
- Public accounting background
- Healthcare industry experience (required)
