Service Manager Lead Operational Excellence for Premier Commercial and Government Electrical Projects
Job Overview:
- Company: Tirone Electric & Data.
- Salary/Pay Rate: $79,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year.
- Location: Office-based (95%) with 5% Construction Field environment.
- Job/Employment Type: Full Time, Salaried.
- Schedule: Eight-hour day between 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Overtime may be required).
- Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License with insurable driving record.
The Opportunity: You will serve as a pivotal leader, bridging the gap between customer needs and field execution to ensure every service job is completed with precision. This role offers the autonomy to manage dispatch workflows while driving the profitability and growth of a respected electrical contractor. How You Will Make an Impact:
- Coordinate and schedule personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure all service jobs are completed efficiently.
- Lead and coach the dispatch team to meet established sales and profit goals while maintaining operational visibility.
- Orchestrate the emergency service process to provide rapid, functional responses for critical customer needs.
- Validate that project sites are prepared for electrical teams and that all technical expertise is readily available.
- Oversee the accuracy of work orders and documentation to facilitate seamless billing and accounts receivable collections.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers and field teams to resolve logistical or technical issues in real-time.
- Enforce rigorous safety and quality standards to exceed industry codes and company performance benchmarks.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical field, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical problems in both commercial and residential sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret detailed project drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software, spreadsheets, and corporate operations tools for scheduling and communication.
- Physical ability to maneuver effectively on customer sites and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong track record of meeting safety program requirements and maintaining professional rapport with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced experience in managing commercial and government power and control installations.
- Demonstrated success in financial oversight, including managing profit goals and reviewing outstanding invoices.
- Proven ability to function independently when researching complex technical solutions or specialized equipment.
