Overview
We're looking for a Finish Work Technician to join our Install team!
As a Finish Work Technician for Esler Companies - Renewal by Andersen you'll be responsible performing high-quality stucco and drywall installation, repair, and finishing work in residential homes during window and door replacement projects. You would be ensuring work meets company standards, maintaining customer satisfaction, and coordinating with homeowners and project teams for efficient project execution. Lastly, you will ensure safe and professional operations, uphold quality standards, and support the successful launch of in-house stucco and drywall services.
Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee stucco and drywall installation, repair, and finishing ensuring high-quality craftmanship.
- Measure and assess project sites to ensure accurate application of stucco and drywall materials.
- Communicate with homeowners to schedule appointments, explain processes, and address inquiries.
- Inspect work for quality, identifying and reporting any issues to the lead finish work technician and/or field service manager.
Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials for efficient job site operations.
Document completed work, including notes or photos, for project records.
Follow safety protocols, including safe use of ladders, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate with window and door replacement teams to ensure seamless project integration.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of stucco and drywall installation, repair, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years of direct experience in stucco and drywall work preferred.
- A valid driver's license.
- An ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use tools and equipment in a safe manner.
