The Oncology Coordinator exists to ensure our members with cancer feel fully supported, guided, and confident throughout their care journey.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the dedicated advocate for members navigating oncology treatment
• Coordinate care across chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical oncology
• Ensure a seamless, supported experience for members and their families throughout the entire treatment process

This is a hands-on role for someone who:

• Is deeply compassionate and organized
• Communicates clearly and confidently with members and care teams
• Thrives in complex, high-impact situations where coordination and advocacy matter

In this role, you will:

Own: Coordination of oncology care, including scheduling and aligning chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical services

Support: Members and families by guiding them through treatment plans, answering questions, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks

Collaborate with: Clinical care teams, providers, and internal departments to ensure a seamless, end-to-end care experience

Advocate for: Members financially and clinically by obtaining treatment details, verifying coverage, and helping identify resources to support their care

Ensure: Accurate documentation of all member interactions and treatment details within the EMR

Communicate: Continuously with members, providers, and internal teams to ensure care plans and protocols are followed

Contribute: As a flexible, positive team player aligned with Redirect Health’s mission

• Creating a supportive, reassuring experience during highly sensitive moments
• Managing complex care coordination with precision and attention to detail
• Advocating effectively for both the clinical and financial needs of members
• Communicating clearly across multiple stakeholders while maintaining empathy

Success in this role is measured by:

• Seamless coordination of oncology care across all treatment stages
• Accuracy and completeness of documentation in the EMR
• Member confidence, trust, and overall care experience
• Strong collaboration with clinical teams and internal partners
• Timely communication and follow-through on care plans

We’re looking for someone who:

• 1–2 years of case management, customer service, or related experience (Required)
• 1–2+ years of oncology or surgery coordination experience (Preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Electronic Medical Record systems (Preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
