Join our team and make a meaningful difference supporting patients and families during one of life’s most important moments. We are seeking a compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist with patient care in our Obstetrics, Postpartum, Neonatal, and Women’s Health units.
Reporting to the Director of Obstetrical Nursing, the Patient Care Technician works under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing personnel to support the care of antenatal, neonate, postpartum, and GYN patients. Care is delivered in accordance with the standards established by the Nursing Services Department, as well as all hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
This role is ideal for individuals interested in building experience in maternal health, labor and delivery, postpartum care, neonatal care, or hospital patient care.
What You’ll DoAs a Patient Care Technician in Women’s Health, you will assist the clinical team with essential direct patient care responsibilities, including:
• Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Assisting patients with basic care needs and comfort measures
• Supporting nurses with routine patient care tasks
• Monitoring patient needs and communicating observations to Registered Nurses
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and supportive patient care environment
• Providing compassionate customer service to patients and families
• Supporting care for antenatal, postpartum, neonatal, and gynecological patients
Your role helps ensure patients and families receive attentive, supportive care during their hospital stay.
Minimum Qualifications Education• High School Diploma or GED required
Experience• Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) preferred
Licensure & Certification• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
• BLS Certification – Healthcare Provider required

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Basic computer and electronic documentation skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to maintain confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
