This role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise sales initiatives for high-value distributed generation (DG) and energy storage portfolios, focusing on owners and investors of community solar and commercial-scale energy assets. You will drive revenue growth through strategic account development, complex deal negotiation, and consultative solutions tailored to portfolio performance needs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will collaborate across internal teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and represent the organization at industry events. This position is ideal for a results-oriented sales leader with a strong technical foundation, deep industry knowledge, and a passion for clean energy innovation in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Lead full-cycle enterprise sales, originating new prospects and expanding existing accounts within distributed generation, energy storage, and community solar portfolios
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to meet aggressive revenue and expansion targets
- Negotiate and manage complex contracts, including MSAs, SEFs, and asset management agreements
- Collaborate with internal Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to refine scopes of work and deliver scalable solutions aligned with client needs
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and Voice of Customer initiatives to maintain high client satisfaction
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, client meetings, and events, acting as a trusted advisor on asset performance and technical solutions
Requirements:
- 5–10+ years of experience in strategic sales, business development, or enterprise account management, ideally in solar, storage, or related energy sectors
- Deep understanding of distributed generation project development, asset management, performance analytics, and commercial/industrial investment landscapes
- Proven track record closing complex deals with developers, corporates, institutional investors, or asset owners
- Analytical skills to interpret portfolio data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for executives
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, remote-first growth-stage environment and manage cross-functional collaboration
