Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Reports To: Customer Service Team Lead
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
General Purpose of Position:
Responsible for all of the necessary functions to provide effective customer service and data entry. Responsible for acting as a liaison between customer and internal departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Order Entry-take orders via phone and email; perform order entry; figure pricing; figure stick count for production; figure amount per carton/skid; figure truck space.
- Handle shipping matters- seeking freight quotes; determining freight rates vs. charges
- High volume data entry and attention to detail imperative.
- Expedite orders and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Handle other duties and special projects, as assigned.
- Data Entry - interpret data in customer folder and input into computer systems; attention to detail and accuracy is extremely important.

- Customer Management - Complete orders on time, use time efficiently.
- Proven customer service experience (no retail)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; Sees ways to improve and promote quality and customer satisfaction; Meet productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
- Able to retain fundamental sales information to build knowledge base of industry and customers.
- Follow instructions and respond to management direction.
- Observe safety and security procedures.
- Adapts well to changes in the work environment
- Works well with others
- Dynamics 365 Business Central/ Navision experience is a PLUS
Skills and Abilities Required: This position requires a high school education or GED equivalent, 2-4 years related customer service experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of data entry experience.
