This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving revenue growth within an established customer base through strategic expansion initiatives. You will own and scale the expansion sales engine, turning customer success into measurable business outcomes by increasing product adoption, upgrades, and cross-sell opportunities. Working in a fast-paced SaaS environment, you’ll collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations teams to create seamless customer journeys. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring a leader who can build scalable systems while coaching high-performing teams. You’ll shape go-to-market strategies, refine expansion playbooks, and leverage data-driven insights to fuel sustainable growth. - Own and scale the expansion revenue engine, driving growth through upsell, cross-sell, and product adoption across the existing customer base
- Develop and implement repeatable expansion strategies, including playbooks, qualification frameworks, and pipeline management processes
- Lead and mentor a high-performing expansion sales team, focusing on coaching, hiring, and performance accountability
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to align strategies and optimize customer lifecycle value
- Drive product-led growth initiatives by enabling in-product discovery, trials, and seamless upgrade paths
- Establish forecasting discipline and performance metrics to ensure visibility and predictability in revenue outcomes
- Identify customer readiness signals and translate insights into actionable sales opportunities
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS revenue leadership roles, with at least 5 years leading expansion, growth, or account management teams
- Proven track record of scaling expansion revenue across large customer bases, particularly in SMB or mid-market segments
- Strong expertise in building and executing high-velocity sales motions and repeatable revenue processes
- Deep understanding of product-led growth strategies and usage-based expansion models
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics, attribution models, and performance metrics to guide decision-making
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to recruit, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Builder mentality with a hands-on approach to creating scalable systems and driving continuous improvement
