Senior Engineer

Knorr-Bremse India Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG Germany which is more than 110 years old Company and world's leading manufacturer of braking systems for Rail and Commercial vehicles. Knorr-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market.
Knorr-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy-efficient air-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint, which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability.
Technician – Air Compressor Test Lab.
Technician Air compressor Test Lab will be working in R&D testing labrotories where air compressors are tested for preformance & durability. He will be responsible for handling all mechanical, assembling, dis-assembling & test setup preperation work. Technical will assist test engineering to performe measurements & all other assigned task.
Responsibilities :
- Assembly & Dis-assembly of air compressor, motor, air dryers etc.
- Mounting of test compressor & other test setup related items on test frame.
- Connection of thermocouples, pressure sensors, humidity sensor etc to the compressor.
- Prepare & assemble pneumatic fittings & hoses, reserviors, manifold into test setup.
- Assist engineer to prepeare Data acquasition system, DAQ trolly.
- Maintain inventory of related spare parts requied to replace on compressor during testing.
- Resposible to maintain 5s in entire lab & take necessary action to improve it.
- Monitor running test stands, record reading/observation and report finding to test engneer.
- Work in all shifts & perform assigned tasks given by test engineers.
Qualifications :
- ITI (Fitter/Electrician/Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanis etc)
- 4 – 6 years of work experience preferably in assembly, maintenance, workshop area.
- Experience in test center / Validation lab will be added advantage.
Preferred Skill :
- Familar with sensors, data loggers, special tools etc
- MS office, PPT preperation, work with excel, operate test softwares etc.
