  • Develop and execute a focused sales and go-to-market strategy tailored to tax compliance solutions, aligning with broader business objectives.
  • Partner with product, sales leadership, and cross-functional teams to align messaging, roadmap priorities, and customer needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in exemption certificates, tax research, and use tax workflows, guiding both internal teams and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring long-term customer success.
  • Drive forecasting, pipeline management, and bookings reporting, ensuring visibility and accuracy for leadership decision-making.
  • Support enablement efforts including training, talk tracks, objection handling, and best practices for sales and solution teams.
  • Identify opportunities to expand revenue through improved pipeline hygiene, prospect engagement, and solution positioning.
  • Act as the “Voice of the Customer,” providing structured feedback to Product, Marketing, and other internal teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience leading sales, solution consulting, pre-sales, or overlay teams in a B2B technology or SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales and use tax concepts, including exemptions, tax research, or compliance workflows.
  • Proven ability to build and execute sales strategies and drive measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to lead discovery conversations and translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Demonstrated success in forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance planning.
  • Proficiency with modern sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Zoom, Slack, and related platforms.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve complex problems with minimal oversight.
  • Experience in tax, accounting, finance, or compliance technology is highly preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation with bonus eligibility (based on role performance and company structure).
  • Paid time off and paid parental leave.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, life, and disability insurance (varies by location).
  • Remote-first work environment with flexible collaboration practices.
  • Inclusive workplace culture with strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Access to employee resource groups and leadership sponsorship programs.
  • Career growth opportunities in a high-scale, global SaaS organization.
  • Exposure to advanced AI-driven tools and workflows integrated into daily operations.
