Position Overview
This role provides after-hours support to drivers, clients and brokers, by solving various transportation related issues and assisting drivers in different hours of service-related situations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer calls and document information by company policies
- Respond to any issues and follow-ups by coordinating with the appropriate departments
- Respond to queries related to updates from brokers and customers
- Prioritize and organize calls accordingly
- Proactively address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Assist drivers with Hours of Service related queries
- Comply with companies communication standards while in verbal and written communication
- Preserve excellent relationship with drivers
- Keep a track record of equipment movement
- Ensure quality customer service provided
- Ensure that drivers provide all the necessary paperwork on time
- Skills and Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound judgment, excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills including the ability to learn new applications
- Good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Ability to manage time efficiently as well as multitask
