Bishop Gadsden, located on 134 acres of lush marshlands and majestic oaks just 10 minutes from downtown Charleston, is seeking a dedicated and dependable Community Response Team Member to help ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, staff, and guests.

What You’ll Do:

As a Community Response Team Member, you’ll be a visible and reassuring presence across our campus, responding to emergencies, conducting safety checks, and supporting our residents with care and professionalism.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Patrolling community buildings and grounds regularly

· Responding to emergency calls and coordinating with EMS

· Completing incident reports and maintaining safety logs

· Assisting with after-hours deliveries and resident support

· Conducting fire drills and safety inspections

· Managing wildlife control when necessary

We’re seeking someone who is calm under pressure, proactive, and committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements:

· Minimum age: 21

· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

· Prior experience in security or safety roles (preferred)

· Valid SC driver’s license

· Ability to complete Advanced First Aid certification within 90 days

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
