Responsibilities
The AI / ML Prototyping Developer will design, develop, and test AIdriven capabilities in support of a federal program. This role focuses on rapidly prototyping machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions, integrating models into secure data pipelines, and refining use cases in collaboration with technical and mission stakeholders. The ideal candidate has handson experience working with multimodal data, developing custom AI agents, and operating in regulated environments such as the Department of Defense (DoD) or Financial Services.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and test AI and machine learning prototypes to support missionfocused use cases
- Develop, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models across structured and unstructured datasets
- Integrate AI/ML models into secure and scalable data processing pipelines
- Support ingestion, processing, and analysis of multimodal datasets (e.g., text, images, structured data) to identify patterns, trends, and key values
- Develop and customize AI agents tailored to defined use cases and regulatory constraints
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to refine requirements and evolve AI use cases
- Apply secure development practices and conduct code scanning and dependency analysis to support compliance requirements
- Document model design, assumptions, limitations, and performance results to support technical reviews and audits
Qualifications
- Clearance requirement: U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- 10 years of work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
