Part-Time Teleprompter Operator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Milwaukee

WDJT-TV, Weigel Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate in Milwaukee Wisconsin, is searching for a Part-Time Teleprompter Operator. This is an entry level position and the perfect opportunity for someone interested in the Broadcasting and News industry!

The weekend morning position is responsible for preparing the news studio and running the teleprompter for the weekend morning news shows. You will work closely with talent, producers and technical directors, clean and monitor prompter, load show script into prompter software, and run monitor for on-air talent during the newscast. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, take direction, and focus in an exciting fast-paced news studio.

Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills with a working knowledge of windows operating systems is required. This position is for Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00am to 12:30pm and Saturday and Sunday mornings from 4:00am to 8:00am, with an opportunity to occasionally pick up shifts on other days of the week.
