Recognized as one of the top companies in the lower mainland B.C., we specialize in selling, installing, and servicing a variety of lifts, including residential elevators, wheelchair lifts, and stairlifts.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented salesperson to join our team.
Position Summary
The Salesperson would be responsible for handling all daily sales operations with the sales team. It’s a mature experienced position reporting directly to the Sales Manager. They would be part of our small team responsible for handling their own key accounts but also developing new sales opportunities. Our business is both a b2b and b2c (we sell directly to builders and to homeowners). Our ideal salesperson has in-depth knowledge of the sales process, excelling at lead generation and networking through the professional community (architects and builders), relationship building, and a strong belief of the CRM system. We’re seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others.
This position is 100% on site at Coquitlam, B.C. Competitive base salary and lucrative uncapped commission structure with OTE for year one $80,000 - 90,000 and year two $100,000 and above.
Responsibilities
- Directly handle key accounts.
- Work with the sales and general manager to ensure booking and quote objectives are met.
- Work with the sales team to plan sales strategies, review pipeline and ensure margins are being respected.
- Oversee our CRM to ensure leads are promptly and activity followed up thorough-out the entire sales cycle.
- Carryout and attend AIA learning seminars and networking builder events
- Attend weekly project meetings to ensure all stages of the project management are being met from equipment release, customer billing, application of permit ETC
- Review commercial sales contracts and negotiate the removal of damaging terms.
- Assist with onsite project management to assist the customer through the sales cycle while also coordinating construction of shaft way in collaboration with our field project manager.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Mindset, Skills & Education
- An Associate’s Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in construction trade or technical sales is a plus
- Very competent IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and other MS products.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Good follow up and conflict resolution skills needed to close tasks and projects.
- Some marketing flair is a plus & comfortable in networking environment/activities.
- The ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
