This role is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving financial excellence across client accounts while partnering closely with account teams and agency leadership. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and revenue recognition, providing actionable insights that support business growth and operational efficiency. Acting as a key financial advisor, you will analyze complex financial data, guide commercial strategy, and ensure compliance with client contracts and internal policies. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role offers the opportunity to shape financial processes, mentor team members, and directly impact business outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Lead financial oversight for client accounts, serving as the primary finance contact for account teams and client discussions.
- Provide financial modeling, forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic insights to inform business decisions.
- Present financial performance and actionable recommendations to account teams and senior leadership.
- Oversee revenue recognition, contract compliance, and commercial activities, including pricing and SOW negotiations.
- Develop and enhance reporting templates, financial models, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Foster collaboration between client finance, accounting, business development, and account management teams.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes, ensuring data-driven decision making and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in financial analysis or related roles within an agency environment, with direct client finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of agency operations, client contract terms, and commercial finance practices.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and mentor team members in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience achieving stakeholder buy-in across senior leadership.
