In this pivotal role, you will oversee all technical facets of our partner's operations, ensuring that K-12 students are safe and supported through innovative technology solutions. Your impact will be felt across a dedicated and remote team, as you lead software development, machine learning, dev ops, and infrastructure initiatives. You will play a critical role in product management and strategic decisions that enhance the company's SaaS offerings. With a startup mindset, you will help transition the technical team towards advanced AI paradigms, all while championing a culture that prioritizes treating people well.
Accountabilities- Oversee Software Development, Machine Learning, and Dev Ops teams.
- Lead the technical strategy for product development and innovation.
- Direct the efforts of over 55 full-time technical staff members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with organizational goals.
- Implement best practices in software architecture and development.
- Foster a positive work culture that emphasizes emotional intelligence and team management.
- Contribute hands-on expertise when necessary to solve technical challenges.
- Proven experience in a CTO or equivalent technical leadership role.
- Strong background in software architecture and development.
- Experience with SaaS products and agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with AI development paradigms.
- Ability to lead large technical teams effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to team well-being.
- Familiarity with a technology stack including AWS, Java, Python, and MySQL.
