This role offers the opportunity to lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team responsible for growth-critical systems and user-facing features. You will oversee the development of key platforms that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention across global markets, ensuring that complex challenges are translated into simple, reliable solutions. As a hands-on leader, you will provide technical guidance, foster a culture of accountability and learning, and align engineering execution with business objectives. You will work closely with Product and Design teams to set priorities, define scope, and deliver impactful results. The role balances strategic leadership with technical contribution, giving you the chance to shape both team performance and the future of growth platforms at scale. Operating in a fully remote, distributed environment, you will collaborate across time zones while leveraging AI-driven tools to maximize productivity and innovation.

• Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional team of engineers building growth-focused systems and tools
• Collaborate with Product and Design to define priorities, scope, and deliverables
• Provide technical guidance, participate in design discussions, and support sound architectural decisions
• Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous learning within the team
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring realistic planning and transparency
• Optimize team processes, collaboration, and productivity across distributed time zones
• Stay hands-on in the codebase, setting high standards for quality, reliability, and speed

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality results in a collaborative environment
• Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, empowerment, and clarity of expectations
• Solid technical background, especially in backend development, with experience in code review and architectural guidance
• Demonstrated individual contributor experience writing production-grade code
• Familiarity with modern programming languages such as TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or similar
• Experience in AI-driven development tools to enhance team and personal productivity
• Product mindset with focus on user impact and key performance metrics
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in distributed, remote-first teams
