Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Content Strategist in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, product thinking, and learning design, shaping scalable educational content within a large and fast-evolving professional learning ecosystem. You will be responsible for defining how test preparation and certification content is planned, structured, prioritized, and maintained across multiple formats and learner journeys. Acting at a portfolio level, you will translate business and product goals into actionable content roadmaps that ensure relevance, quality, and defensibility. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Psychometrics, Compliance, and Operations to ensure alignment with exam standards and learner needs. The role requires a strong balance of strategic vision and operational rigor to manage complex content lifecycles. You will play a key role in ensuring content is scalable, reusable, and continuously optimized based on data and market evolution.
- Define and manage the content strategy and roadmap for assigned test prep and certification portfolios, aligning with business and product objectives.
- Lead intake, triage, and prioritization of content requests while optimizing reuse across multiple brands and reducing duplication.
- Translate exam requirements, learner needs, and market insights into structured content plans and release strategies.
- Design and scope learning products such as question banks, flashcards, courses, and study guides with clear quality and performance standards.
- Oversee curriculum mapping, blueprint alignment, taxonomy, and content traceability across the portfolio.
- Own content lifecycle management, including decisions to build, adapt, update, or retire assets based on performance and relevance.
- Collaborate with SMEs and talent teams to define contributor profiles, ensure content quality, and maintain consistency.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Program Management, and B2B teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution efficiency.
- Use data, learner feedback, and performance metrics to inform ongoing optimization and decision-making.
- Support cross-training initiatives and contribute to broader portfolio coverage when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Psychometrics, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, test preparation, certification products, or professional education publishing.
- Proven ability to manage content at a portfolio level rather than focusing on individual assets.
- Experience designing and scoping structured learning products such as assessments, courses, and study materials.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum mapping, blueprinting, and content traceability frameworks.
- Experience working with subject matter experts, including selection, briefing, and quality management.
- Ability to translate business goals into clear content strategies, requirements, and execution plans.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across product, operations, and educational teams.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics and feedback to guide decisions.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
- Preferred: experience with credentialing exams, regulated learning environments, or AI-supported content workflows.
- Competitive compensation package aligned with experience
- Flexible remote work environment
- Opportunity to shape large-scale, high-impact educational content portfolios
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- Paid time off and holiday benefits
- Career development and learning opportunities within a global education organization
- Collaborative, values-driven culture emphasizing curiosity, teamwork, and innovation
- Exposure to AI-enabled content planning and modern learning technologies
- Opportunity to work on mission-driven products serving over one million learners annually
