This strategic leadership role sits at the intersection of global market access, pricing strategy, and oncology drug development, focusing on colorectal cancer (CRC) assets across an innovative RAS-targeted pipeline. The position plays a critical part in shaping how therapies are valued, reimbursed, and accessed globally, ensuring alignment between clinical development, payer expectations, and commercialization strategy. Operating in a highly cross-functional and science-driven environment, the role partners with global and regional stakeholders to embed access considerations early in development and throughout the product lifecycle. It requires strong expertise in oncology pricing and reimbursement, as well as the ability to influence complex global strategies. The Director will help define sustainable pricing frameworks and access pathways across major markets. This is a high-impact role contributing directly to the success and global reach of transformative cancer therapies.
- Lead the development of global pricing and market access strategies for oncology CRC assets, including launch sequencing, reference pricing approaches, and price corridor management across priority markets.
- Define payer-relevant evidence requirements in collaboration with HEOR teams and ensure alignment between clinical development plans and global reimbursement expectations.
- Analyze competitive and reimbursement landscapes, including line-of-therapy positioning, biomarker-driven access pathways, and combination therapy implications.
- Drive strategy for EU Joint Clinical Assessment submissions and broader HTA engagement in partnership with regional market access and HEOR stakeholders.
- Provide strategic guidance to regional teams on pricing execution, reimbursement negotiations, and access risk mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to lifecycle planning, business development evaluations, and ongoing global access capability building across the organization.
- Monitor and communicate global pricing trends, policy changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree such as PhD, PharmD, MD, or MSc in Health Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in market access and pricing, with strong exposure to global oncology environments.
- Deep expertise in global payer systems and HTA frameworks, including AMNOG, NICE, Chuikyo, and other European reimbursement systems.
- Proven experience designing global pricing strategies, including value-based pricing, reference pricing mitigation, and launch sequencing.
- Strong understanding of early pricing assessments, reimbursement negotiations, and payer engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to translate payer requirements into clinical development and evidence generation plans.
- Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills in matrix organizations.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
