About This Position
Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association is seeking a Community Standards Manager to lead compliance and architectural review efforts across our vibrant community. This role plays a critical part in maintaining property values, upholding community standards, and fostering a high-quality living environment for residents.
You will oversee enforcement of governing documents (CC and Rs, Rules and Regulations, Architectural Standards), lead a dedicated team, and serve as a key liaison to community committees.

What You’ll Do
Leadership and Team Management
• Supervise and develop Community Standards Coordinators
• Establish workflows for inspections, violations, and case resolution
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in enforcement practices
Compliance and Enforcement
• Oversee identification and resolution of compliance violations
• Review and approve notices, fines, and escalations
• Ensure adherence to governing documents and applicable laws (including Davis-Stirling Act)
Committee and Stakeholder Support
• Act as liaison to the Compliance Committee and Architectural Review Committee (ARC)
• Prepare meeting agendas, reports, and recommendations
• Track and implement committee decisions
Architectural Review Oversight
• Manage ARC application intake and review process
• Coordinate inspections and homeowner communication
• Support updates to architectural guidelines
Resident Relations
• Address escalated homeowner concerns professionally
• Communicate clearly regarding violations and appeal processes
• Balance enforcement with positive community engagement
Reporting and Systems
• Track cases and generate compliance reports using systems like CINC
• Identify trends and recommend process improvements

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
• High School Diploma required; some college preferred
• 3–5+ years of HOA/community management or compliance experience
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
• Knowledge of HOA governing documents and California law (Davis-Stirling Act)
• Experience working with boards or volunteer committees
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Skills and Competencies
• Strong communication (written and verbal)
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with compliance/property management software (e.g., CINC)
Preferred Certifications
• CCAM or CMCA (preferred but not required)

• Combination of office work and community inspections
• Ability to walk, stand, and inspect properties outdoors
• Occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and sometimes high-conflict situations
