This role is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing a global compliance platform to support enterprise-wide healthcare compliance operations. The Associate Director will drive the platform strategy, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational requirements across regions. Acting as the business product owner, this role translates compliance program priorities into system functionality, partners closely with technology teams on system enhancements, and fosters collaboration across compliance, technology, and business stakeholders. The role also provides leadership to the global platform team, enhancing user experience, streamlining processes, and enabling data-driven compliance insights. Success in this position requires a mix of technical expertise, strategic vision, and experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in regulated environments.
- Provide strategic oversight and governance for the global compliance platform, ensuring it supports compliance program requirements and evolving business needs.
- Define and drive the platform roadmap, prioritizing enhancements that improve usability, scalability, and compliance oversight.
- Establish and maintain global standards, operating procedures, and governance structures for consistent platform use.
- Serve as the business product owner for the platform, managing enhancement intake, capability roadmap development, and system delivery with Technology teams.
- Lead initiatives to optimize platform processes, automate workflows, and enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Compliance, Technology, Legal, Finance, and regional teams, to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Oversee platform operations, analytics, and global team leadership, including development, mentoring, and succession planning.
Requirements:
- Doctorate with 3+ years, Master’s with 5+ years, Bachelor’s with 7+ years, Associate degree with 12+ years, or high school diploma/GED with 14+ years of experience in compliance, technology, or business process management.
- Experience as a business product owner or capability lead for enterprise platforms, with proven ability to work alongside technology teams for system delivery.
- Strong knowledge of compliance systems, governance platforms, or enterprise workflow tools in regulated industries.
- Demonstrated understanding of compliance program operations and how platforms support policy implementation, monitoring, and risk management.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects involving compliance, technology, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to drive process improvements and decision-making.
