This is a first shift position, working Monday - Friday, 3:00 - 11:30 pm, in Sycamore, Illinois. The advertised hourly pay includes the shift differential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively engage in responsibilities and initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
Comply with and contribute to the continuous improvement of company policies, processes and procedures.
Perform varied production tasks with direction of the Supervisor and/or team lead including, but not limited to forming, assembling, and packaging products, pulling and packaging customer orders, operating production machinery, and restocking inventory.
Monitor machines to ensure proper function, initiating appropriate problem-resolution.
Monitor work visually and dimensionally referring to blueprints, engineering specifications, and job instruction sheets.
Perform routine computer data entry and queries, reporting production and raw material usage.
Maintain housekeeping in the work area, following 6S principles.
Use various tools and equipment frequently, including, but not limited to hand tools, soldering equipment, assembly and test equipment, hand trucks, material handling equipment, and tape machine.
Assist with cycle counting and inventory control.
SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Follow directions, both verbal and written, including, but not limited to, assembly instructions and diagrams.
Read and follow job instructions, complete written forms, and effectively communicate with others.
Operate various powered industrial trucks.
Demonstrate versatility and willingness to learn new skills.
Demonstrate a high level of attention-to-detail in a manufacturing environment.
Package and assemble a variety of materials using visual acuity and hand dexterity.
Use color and depth perception for selected tasks.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED.
Six months of relevant experience is preferred, but not required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Effectively perform work in a manufacturing environment.
Constantly operate production machinery.
Positions self to move items at various heights, such as floor, countertop, shelves.
Effectively communicate and exchange accurate information so that others will understand.
Observe details at close range, such as documents, computer screens, tools, products, and machines.
Move boxes through the facility weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally and boxes weighing up to 30 pounds frequently.
Wears required personal protective equipment to ensure safety from exposure to hazardous materials/loud noise/heat/cold/other/when applicable.
Overtime or on-call shifts may be required.
Compensation Disclosure:
The rate of pay for this position is $21.20/hour including shift differential. This represents a good faith disclosure of compensation, which is the fixed starting rate for this position.
