As an Engineering Manager, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, guiding your team through design, development, and deployment of core product functionality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including product, data, and behavioral health specialists to ensure that engineering initiatives align with business and user needs. - Lead and mentor a small engineering team, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth
- Oversee design, development, and deployment of core product functionality with focus on scalability, security, and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Data, and Clinical teams to align engineering initiatives with business objectives
- Establish and maintain best practices across software development lifecycle, including architecture decisions and platform evolution
- Manage team performance, project timelines, and delivery outcomes, balancing short-term execution with long-term technical vision
- Facilitate effective communication with diverse stakeholders to ensure project alignment and clarity on goals
Requirements:
- 7+ years of overall engineering experience with at least 1 year in a management or leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Proven experience in developing enterprise or consumer web applications
- Hands-on technical proficiency and familiarity with AI tools, Agentic development, or workflow automation
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated project management skills and a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative, inclusive work environment
- Preferred: prior startup experience, familiarity with SSO, integrations, and partnerships
