Job Summary:

Hospitalists at Berkshire Health Systems are vital members of the healthcare team and are responsible for providing high-quality, comprehensive, and patient-centered care to individuals admitted to our hospitals.

• Position based at main campus, Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA.
• Two affiliated critical access hospitals each with their own dedicated Hospitalist teams.
• 7on/7off schedule (There are times where you will work one week on two weeks off)
• 11 hour shifts
• 122 shifts per year (More shifts can always be picked up)
• Closed ICU
• Established nocturnist program
• Procedures not required.
• Academic appointment at the University of Massachusetts
• Community teaching hospital with residencies in Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Psychiatry
• Target total daily encounters of 10-15
• Collaborative work environment.
