Java Developer (Infrastructure) at Ajax Systems – Kyiv, Kyiv

The product portfolio includes 280 wireless and wired devices for security and automation. Today, Ajax protects over 4.5 million users in 187 countries worldwide.

We are looking for a smart, experienced, and technically proficient Java Developer to join our team in Kyiv office.
Required experience:

- 3+ years of backend or full-stack development
- Java: solid understanding, ability to read and extend existing services
- Experience building integrations with third-party APIs (Google Workspace, Atlassian, GitHub, etc.)
- Familiarity with webhook-based and event-driven integration patterns
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release management concepts

Nice to Have:

- Python: strong practical experience (scripting, REST APIs, automation)
- Google Chat API or similar messaging platform bot development
- Confluence / Jira API integrations
- iOS / Swift basics for lightweight internal mobile tools
- Grafana, Prometheus or similar for internal dashboards
- PostgreSQL / SQLite for lightweight persistence
- Familiarity with release automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
