This role places you at the intersection of community strategy, analytics, and growth. You will provide actionable insights to guide the expansion, engagement, and health of online communities, translating complex datasets into recommendations that inform business decisions. Working cross-functionally with marketing, product, data science, and lifecycle teams, you will measure and optimize community behavior, retention, and moderation practices. You will create dashboards, run experiments, and consult on growth initiatives to help scale communities efficiently and sustainably. This position requires both strong analytical capabilities and a collaborative mindset, as you influence strategies and outcomes across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Serve as the analytical partner for community growth, marketing, and lifecycle teams, translating business questions into structured analyses
- Build and maintain dashboards that track community creation, engagement, and maturity across multiple communities
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify patterns in contributor behavior, moderation health, and engagement trends
- Deliver reports and insights to leadership that quantify the impact of growth initiatives and inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, product marketing, and community success, to align on metrics and experimentation strategies
- Support the design, tracking, and analysis of community-facing experiments to optimize outcomes and scale successful initiatives
Requirements:
- 4–7+ years of experience in data analytics, growth marketing, or community insights
- Expert-level SQL proficiency and experience with databases, data visualization tools, and CRM platforms (e.g., BigQuery, HubSpot, Zendesk, Salesforce)
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis is highly preferred
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect quantitative results to broader business objectives
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of online community dynamics (moderation, engagement, and growth strategies) is a plus
