This role is a strategic procurement leadership position focused on managing diverse indirect categories, including marketing services and operational center support. You will lead end-to-end category management, negotiate complex supplier contracts, and drive cost-effective sourcing strategies that scale operations and enhance customer experience. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will design external workforce architectures, optimize vendor performance, and ensure compliance and governance across agreements. The role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, offering significant influence over operational and brand-critical supplier relationships in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Lead end-to-end management of a diverse portfolio, balancing SLA-driven operational support vendors with ROI-focused marketing and creative agency partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans, RFX processes, and multi-year category strategies to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Negotiate and manage Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and vendor contracts, minimizing business and compliance risk.
- Partner with operations leaders to design scalable, high-quality external support for customer-facing centers and marketing initiatives.
- Oversee supplier relationships, ensuring service excellence, delivery performance, and adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
- Perform make-versus-buy analyses and vendor evaluations to maximize operational efficiency and supplier value creation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, marketing, and operations teams to drive procurement excellence and vendor ecosystem improvements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of procurement experience, including 7+ years managing Marketing Services, BPO/Call Center, or customer experience outsourcing categories.
- Expertise in large-scale global BPO deals, including CPPH models, staffing ratios, SLA frameworks, and vendor governance.
- Strong understanding of marketing procurement, including agency fee models, media buying transparency, and creative production cost management.
- Proven ability to perform TCO analyses, outsourcing evaluations, and strategic supplier management.
- Excellent executive presence and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing both creative and operational leaders.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing complex contracts and vendor ecosystems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; advanced degrees or relevant consulting experience a plus.
- Preferred experience in high-growth tech, rideshare, or autonomous vehicle sectors managing 24/7 outsourced customer support.
