Tree Crew Leader at Ahlum & Arbor Tree Preservation - Cincinnati – Cincinnati, Ohio

We are seeking an experienced Tree Crew Leader to guide field crews in delivering safe, high-quality tree care services across the area. This is a full-time, year-round leadership role offering market-competitive pay based on experience, performance incentives, full benefits, and long-term career growth.

This position is ideal for a skilled arborist who enjoys leading by example, mentoring others, and taking pride in preservation-focused work rather than production-only tree removal. Experience in professional tree care is a must.

$30 - $35 hourly

• Conduct daily job briefings and enforce safety protocols and best practices
• Promote a positive, professional, and safety-first jobsite culture
• Train, coach, and mentor crew members to develop skills and promote growth
• Inspect job sites to ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction
• Operate climbing, rigging, and aerial lift equipment safely and efficiently

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a field-based environment
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate with a team
• Interest in long-term career growth within a values-driven company
• 3–5+ years of experience in professional tree care or arborist operations
