This role is a high-impact commercial position focused on driving growth, profitability, and market share across a portfolio of strategic vision care accounts in the Northeast region.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key customers while deeply understanding their business needs and patient care challenges.
The position requires a strategic mindset to develop account plans, identify growth opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that enhance commercial performance.
You will collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical, to execute integrated account strategies.
A strong emphasis is placed on negotiation, contract management, and delivering measurable sales outcomes across complex healthcare accounts.
This role also involves significant field engagement, including customer visits, events, and approximately 50% travel within the assigned territory.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic key accounts by developing trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions that improve patient care and drive business performance.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies and tactical plans aligned with broader commercial objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and lead account-specific initiatives to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions and strengthen account positioning.
  • Coordinate and support customer events and programs in collaboration with marketing and medical teams.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, stakeholder mapping, and account segmentation to support informed decision-making.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall regional sales and performance goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience (or equivalent combinations such as high school + 13 years, associate + 9 years, or master’s + 2 years).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or a related commercial role, preferably within healthcare, medical devices, or vision care.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with complex accounts.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, managing large accounts, and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess market dynamics and develop strategic account plans.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based role with approximately 50% travel.
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
