Commercial Maintenance Technician at Ardent Property Management – Westerville, Ohio

Ardent Commercial Maintenance is looking for a Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The best fit for this position will complete work orders professionally, efficiently, and accurately, while also making customer service with the tenants a priority. Ardent Commercial Maintenance is a commercial facilities maintenance company including Class A Buildings and warehouse space - local to the Columbus, OH market. We handle over 2 million square feet of commercial space.

Job Responsibilities:
- General maintenance tickets include plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Ability to diagnose problems & determine a resolution accurately and efficiently.
- Paperless work environment! We use smart phones to track our hours, parts used and notes on work orders.
- Maintaining and documenting all fire extinguisher and exit lighting inspections.
- Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and property management staff.
- Weekly rotating on-call evening and weekend schedule. Minimal on-calls throughout the year. The below list of emergencies requiring on-call responses:

• No heat
• Plumbing leaks or pipes
• Gas leak or odor
• Securing of fire damage or break-ins
• Electrical Problem
• Lock outs
• Any other emergency deemed so by management

Requirements:
· Availability for on-call emergency schedule
· Providing your own hand tools.
· HVAC certification is preferred but we will help the right candidate get trained & certified!
· Physical requirement of stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs
· Ability to operate a smart phone
